Introduction
[GM] Two authors WHO have collaborated already since looong (see below links, please) on Global-Collaboration and learning together about ICT and everything around it, Cyber Security, Privacy , Digital CitiZenship are trying to show YOU, dear readers, THE possibilities on THE How-To to integrate <===> Physical EDUcation <===> within ICT and Social Media to give YOU as parents and first THE students, learners THE possibility to GET out a MAXIMUM for their health and THEIR <===> Digital FootPrint <===> as well! YES, WE are discussing this ALSO as the students are creating blogs and can report about their experiences in sports, efforts made and they can control it through special software, even that there are ALSO <===> Wearables <===> on the market where the users need to have some knowledge about <===> Privacy and Cyber Security <===>, which WE will discuss later in another chapter of this blog post.
Both authors have STRONG knowledge about 21st Century TEACHing, Coaching and especially “Dan KIRSCH” has….
[DK] I have been teaching now for 9 years in a variety of content areas; such as Physical Education, ICT, and Technical Education. My heart has always been in Physical Education, but the experience I gained teaching ICT has lead me to wanting to integrate ICT within my Physical Education classes I currently teach. For instance, I have began to have my 5th grade students blog on their Chromebooks at the end of each week. The blog prompts consist of personal reflections on the HOWTO get better on certain physical education skills and become better teammates during game situations.
..
. The author Dan KIRSCH teaches courses in Physical Education for students in grades K-5 at Garfield Elementary School in South Dakota, USA. Students in his classes focus on perceptual motor skills (fine & gross), sport lead-up skills, and most importantly Sportsmanship. . You can find me also on:

How-To To Incorporate ICT within Physical EDUcation
[Start text from Wikipedia] Physical education or PE, also known in many Commonwealth countries as physical training or PT, is an educational course related to the physique of the human body. It is taken during primary and secondary education and encourages psychomotor learning in a play or movement exploration setting to promote health. [End text from Wikipedia]

- Adapting to new technology can be challenging for instructors. Sometimes, physical education instructors can feel as if technology does not apply to their subject. However, by embracing technology, physical education instructors create a more varied and dynamic classroom. They are also able to appeal to the interests of many different students and ability types. Using technology to teach physical health allows educators to create more activities and show how important their goals are. Check link below please:

Technology: Fitness Tracker, Wearables, Apps…
[GM] Fitness Trackers: Trend or Tool!? Check the below article (2015) to find out more please:
Wearables, technical gadgets who connect with the internet, are getting more and more used and the customers are NOT aware of its risks and dangers, check below please.
Many consumers unaware that data doesn’t stay on their device
[START Text from “The downside of wearable fitness technology“]
But what most consumers don’t realize is a potential big downside to these smart devices: the potential loss of privacy. While the average consumer may think that the data collected lives on their device or in their app, it really lives on servers owned and maintained by the device providers. For this reason,Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has called these devices a “privacy nightmare.“

[DK] A great method of incorporating ICT within Physical EDUcation is the use of QR Codes! A lot of Physical Education teachers use QR codes during perceptual motor/fitness centers as a method of having students investigate what exercise and/or activity they will be participating in that specific center. Checkout the YouTube video below ==> for more information.

WHAT About Google Drive/Google Docs!?
Another avenue taking by several #Physed teachers is the incorporation of GoogleDrive and its varying components; such as google docs, spreadsheets, and slide shows as a methodology of implementing ICT within the Physical Education classroom. [DK]

WHAT About Apps!?
Think again. Perception is not reality. Most health apps have significant vulnerabilities. Vulnerability assessments were conducted on 71 mobile health apps in the US, UK, Germany, and Japan. The vulnerability assessments were based on the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top 10 Mobile Risks5 .

Why your health data isn’t as secure as it should be
.
Your health status is perhaps the most intimate information anyone could know about you, so it should be your decision whether you share or keep your medical records private.
Unfortunately, hospitals, doctors’ offices and insurance companies frequently expose our health data through accidental loss, device theft, employee negligence, and data breaches perpetrated by hackers.
Even as the amount of health data rapidly increases, and data security laws become more punitive, medical ID theft continues to rise.

In Europe today, 6 of the 7 biggest risk factors for premature death – blood pressure, cholesterol, Body Mass Index, inadequate fruit and vegetable intake, physical inactivity and alcohol abuse – relate to how we eat, drink and move.
Rising overweight and obesity across Europe is particularly worrying. The European Commission advocates an integrated approach, involving stakeholders at local, regional, national and European levels.
